They’re the lads in their cars who get up to all sorts of comedy capers on their prime-time TV show.
But Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will be given a new-look for their latest madcap adventure.
The trio have been given a cartoon makeover to star alongside Peter Griffin, of US cult show Family Guy.
It looks set to eclipse their antics of the past, which have seen them drive a Jaguar off an aircraft carrier and put their lives on the line by daubing ‘Man-love rules’ on cars during a road trip in America’s deep south.
Artists from the animated comedy show have worked their magic on the trio for a BBC3 interview with Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane.
A comic strip of their capers also features in the new issue of Top Gear magazine.
